Installation of Solar PV within the grounds of Grade 2 listed buildings does require planning consent. For this project on the Isle of Wight, Solar Voltaics generated photo-montages of the proposed design to demonstrate to the planning authorities the low visual impact of the system.

9 kW of polycrystalline panels were installed on a new metal trapezoidal roof at minimal tilt angles to provide self cleaning whilst optimising performance within the low profile design envelope available.

This customer has also had a SolarSaver installed to provide domestic hot water heating to save on fuel oil costs in this remote location.
